[Risk NO. 73 & 74]
If you couldn’t understand what I was saying on the video, or if the video doesn’t load up, here’s the written version :)
Basically, a good friend of mine and I had lunch today. He was just telling me how last Tuesday night he prayed for this one man and he got healed. And ever since then he’s just so fired up about this! Jesus is opening his eyes to the other side of the gospel, the supernatural.
So I just encouraged him even more and how God is going to use him more in ways like that. So we decided to go on an adventure. We thought we should go walk around downtown and pray for people. We have our other friend joined us too! I love it every time God allows me to introduce my friends to walk in the supernatural realm and introduce them the ‘risk-taking-faith’ lifestyle! It’s so fun!
So we went to this small downtown in my city and we saw this one lady with a cane. She was with her daughter and we approached her and asked what happened to her. She said she fell at work and hurt her knees. So we started praying for her and after praying we asked if her knees felt any better, she said it was still the same. We prayed the second time, it was still the same.
She was so kind and grateful that we prayed and we tried, so we just blessed her and went on our way. We were a little discouraged but didn’t stop us from moving forward with our day. We ran into another person and we met Dwayne. He has a cane too and his right knee cartilage was torn. We asked if we could pray for him and he agreed!
So we started praying and after praying we asked if he felt any better, and he said, ‘Wow. I actually do feel my knees got better! I felt heat come upon it! There’s a little bit of pain, but much better!” So we prayed the second time and this time, the pain went away and I believed his knees got healed today!
God is so good! He worked through us today. Not just through me, but through my friends too! It was so awesome! I hope that more people from my church would be encouraged to walk in the Gifts of the Spirit. We have the kingdom of God living inside of us. It’s not meant to be quenched by our flesh, but meant to be released through the power of the Holy Spirit!
