Does anybody KNOW that you’re a CHRISTIAN by your ACTIONS? Or Does everybody THINK that you’re a CHRISTIAN coz you’re ACTING?
Ouch. Convicted much? It’s okay though. You’re not alone. You’re not perfect. I personally admit that I have my days where I’m just ‘acting’.
But check this out. Paul stresses out so much in the Book of Colossians that we need to do both. Do the Walking and the Talking.

Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person - Colossians 4:5-6

Paul is saying that even the way we act, walk, speak should be a strong manifestation of the Holy Spirit living inside of us. By our actions people will know that we are His disciples. (Matt7:16)
And guess what, after we’ve done our part of walking and talking, In the midst of that, someone in the crowd will approach us why are we acting and speaking in that way, then we profess the hope that we have which is Christ. It’s a beautiful picture and a simple avenue for us to share our faith.
Do you know someone who walks in wisdom and who speaks with grace? Maybe a friend, a mentor, pastor or a parent? I know I do and they are unmistakeably walking closely and intimately with God. It’s evident. It’s undeniable. It’s contagious and you wanna hang around with those people and be like them because you know they are true, genuine and authentic followers of Christ
At the end of the day as Christ Followers our goal is to walk and talk like Christ. To make His name & glory be known to everyone. That by our actions they may see a glimpse of Christ. And for every person that we encounter we want them to wonder and say,
“There’s something about that person, I wanna find out what it is!” - That’s the goal.
In Christ,
